The Tramex Moisture Encounter MEX5 is a digital, dual-depth, non-destructive moisture and humidity meter for surveying moisture and humidity conditions in building structures. It measures moisture content in wood and drywall, and gives comparative readings in materials such as roofing, plaster, tile and masonry.
Deep readings reach up to 30 mm and shallow readings up to 9 mm, so surface and core moisture can be compared. It also has a built-in hygrometer and an infrared surface thermometer.
The ABS body measures 180 mm x 85 mm x 40 mm and weighs 290 g. The digital display is 58 mm x 35 mm.
